I didn't spend my career in HR. I spent it bootstrapping outsourcing companies, pitching investors, and building startups from the ground up.
Over the years, I've built and launched products across the entire digital spectrum: from indie games and virtual production, to complex simulations and SaaS platforms. I was the hands-on founder: building the team, managing the projects, closing the sales, and sweating over payroll. But no matter what product we were shipping or what industry we were in, one brutal reality never changed: Finding the right talent was always the biggest threat to our runway. I suffered through the inefficiency of bad hires(even more due to my own mistakes), and I dealt with recruiters who didn't understand the difference between a framework and an engine.
